Kelli Sae is a Native New Yorker raised in the Bronx. Her Puerto Rican and African roots make for an interesting blend that create a beautiful unique sound. Her musical tastes range from Ella Fitzgerald to Radiohead and everything in between. This girl loves music and everything about it! She believes that there are only two types of music – Good and Bad. The styles for her really don’t matter. Well those feelings are very apparent when listening to her songs. She is able to weave in between genres seamlessly. She fuses elements that would otherwise seem awkward and turns them on their ear into a fresh sound.

When one takes a look at her resume, it becomes clear where some of her musical sensibilities may stem from. Her resume boasts a true who’s who from Legends to Icons. She’s sang backing vocals for Tina Turner, Paul Simon, Chaka Kahn, Eddie Palmieri, La India, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Angelique Kidjo, Ashford & Simpson, Philippe Saisse, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Meshell N’Degeocello and the list continues.

Kelli Sae has released three solo albums independently on her own Kwurk Arts Group Entertainment label. In between those albums, Kelli’s recorded and been featured on countless records. She has toured the world as lead vocalist for global Jazz Funk Collectives Count Basic and Incognito. Kelli and Peter Legat (the Founder and Band Leader of Count Basic) were the recipients of an Amadeus Award and were also inducted into the esteemed Wall Of Fame in Vienna. They also were the opening act for David Bowie.

Kelli can be heard Monday nights on ABC on the hit Reality Television Show Dancing With The Stars as one of the Principal Vocalists. Other Television shows she’s worked on are Rising Star as a vocal coach and The Singing Bee. When asked how she enjoys working on television, Kelli’s response is: “It’s a truly amazing experience. Watching it all come together and sets being built in three minutes is mind blowing!”

Currently Kelli is in the studio preparing her next album due out this summer. Kelli says “I’m so excited to present it and begin touring. There’s truly nothing I love more than performing. The stage feels like my living room and the people my beautiful guests. I love meeting everyone, getting up close and personal. That’s what it’s all about for me. Music is a unifier and a healer. I feel blessed and privileged to do it.”
