Program:

7-string acoustic Guitarist Michi Ruzitschka and Brazilian singer Thamires Tannous combine their expertise to provide a comprehensive exploration of Brazilian music. This workshop merges technical proficiency with artistic expression, offering participants a better understanding of the diverse rhythms, melodies, and cultural traditions of Brazil.
Through guided instruction, the participants will investigate structures of Samba, Bossa Nova, and other Brazilian styles, gaining insights into their musical foundations. Join us as we dive into the fascinating world of Brazilian music, exploring and feeling its rhythmic complexities and uncovering its unique melodic features.

Approximate schedule:

– lecture performance about 30 minutes
– individual classes on instruments: guitar / vocals
– making music together in the context of brazilian music
